The Torn.Fu.b1 transceiver was introduced in 1936. It is one of the first models of the "new generation" of military radio devices developed by order of Adolf Hitler to re-arm Germany. The vacuum tubes in the Torn.Fu.b1 are the RV2P800 type. The Torn.Fu.b1 uses one filament battery (2,4NC38) and two 90 Volt anode batteries. |

These are portable radio sets, and are intended for field service as pack sets. The transmitters can be modulated using ordinary field telephone lines. Satisfactory operation is possible over about 1.5 miles of field wire. |
