Fu. H. E. v

The Fu.H.E.v receiver belongs to the series of "half-height" monitoring receivers similar to the Fu.H.E.u and the Fu.H.E.u1. A well constructed, battery-operated 8-tube, heterodyne receiver of cast "Electron" alloy. A rotating turret of intricate design carries the HF, oscillator and mixer tank circuits. 4 sets of 4 tank circuits, each shielded by a light-weight die-cast "can". Iron-core inductances are used in antenna and circuit coils. Variable ceramic capacitors provide parallel trimming. The contacts are not the brush type; instead, a long cam furnishes pressure to contact fingers. IF is 3000 KHz.
