RADIO DIRECTION FINDERS

FUNKPEILUNG

An ultra-rare photo of a P57N direction finder in use. Note the two men with the transit-compass to the left. They are keeping a certain deistance from the P57N so that it's electro-magnetic field does not affect the compass. This ensures that the most accurate compass reading is taken of the detected signal.

A great photo showing a standard "modern" radio direction finding van. Here you have the EP1 and EP2 direction finding receivers. A radio clock is also visible here.
